The South Effingham High School visual arts department and National Art Honor Society will host the eighth annual student fashion show on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. at SEHS.

This year’s runway show, titled “Mundane Madness,” will feature original designs created by students out of everyday objects such as duct tape, coffee filters, erasers and tea. SEHS students have designed and will model all garments.

Students will compete for awards given by a panel of judges. Awards include top designer, top model and an audience choice, among others.

Admission is $7 and tickets will be sold at the door. All proceeds benefit the visual arts at SEHS and the annual Cathy Leaf Art Scholarship.

The event is open to the public. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m.
