Stangs stand strong at state

On March 27-28, over 3,000 Georgia Future Business Leaders of America made their way to Atlanta for the annual State Leadership Conference.

Three members and two advisors from  South Effingham High School were among these students and advisors at one of the most highly acclaimed competitions in the state of Georgia.

Meredith Lamb was recognized and inducted as a 2009-2010 Region 3 officer. Brandon Cody and Lamb competed in the global business competition and placed seventh.

They also represented SEHS in the Battle of the Chapters competitions and placed sixth.

Randy Stapleton placed fifth in computer applications.

Emilia Truluck placed second in the word processing I competition. Truluck is now eligible to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif., this summer.
