Rincon Elementary School pre-kindergarten students held their annual St. Patrick’s Day shoe box parade.

Students made their floats at home and showed them off to families and friends.

It was a lively occasion, as Irish music played in the background and everyone danced a jig when they finished.

From her beginnings as a kindergarten paraprofessional to her vital role in the district’s testing office, Nixon has impacted generations of students and educators with her work ethic, professionalism and heart.
