Olan and Shirley McCoy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this month with a family dinner party.

 

The couple was married July 1, 1960, in Statesboro. Olan is retired from Union Camp and Shirley is a retired school teacher. They are the proud parents of four children, Jody, Jimmy, Shawn and Shai McCoy. They also have been blessed with three grandchildren, Dallas McCorkendale and Austin and Amber Jones.
