Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Boyles Sr. of Guyton will celebrate 70 years of marriage on Dec. 5, 2015 with a dinner hosted by their children and grandchildren. They were married on Dec. 5, 1945, by Rev. B E Whittington in Springfield.

The couple have two children, Linda and Ronnie McDaniel of Guyton and Leonard (Lynn) and Mickey Boyles of Baxley; four grandchildren, Ron and Amy McDaniel, of Guyton, Kelly and Ryan Strickland of Rincon, Jason and Mandy Boyles of Statesboro and Jeffrey and Christy Boyles of Pembroke; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kendra McDaniel, Morgan McDaniel, Samuel Strickland, Reagan Boyles, Simon Strickland, Gracelynn Boyles, Bryson McDaniel, Silas Strickland, Graham Boyles and Lawson Boyles and Abigail Strickland.
