William Jay Sr. and LuNeil Exley Neurath will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Oct. 11.

The couple married at the Rincon United Methodist Church on Oct. 11, 1958. The Rev. Hamp Watson officiated.

Jay retired from Stone Container in 1996 with 41 years of service. LuNeil is a homemaker. They have four children, Jay Neurath Jr. (Kamala), Susan Neurath Durden (Richard), Wesley Neurath (Vickie) and Laura Neurath Morgan (Darren). They have eight grandchildren, Tyson Neurath, Jonathan, Matthew and Emily Durden, Tristan and Isabel Neurath, Lauren and Jayson Morgan.

They enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and friends. They also enjoy going camping to bluegrass festivals. They attend Rincon United Methodist Church.
