The children of Jack and Wylene Parrish of Rincon are proud to announce that God has given their parents the blessing of 60 years of married life together.

The couple was married on April 15, 1949, in Savannah.

Mr. Parrish has been retired for 20 years from International Paper where he worked for 41 years. Mrs. Parrish has been retired for 22 years from Sears where she worked for 17 years at the warehouse.

The couple enjoyed their retirement years spending many happy times with their family at their lake house on Lake Sinclair. Due to failing health, Mrs. Parrish now resides at the Effingham County Nursing Home, and Mr. Parrish visits her faithfully every day.

The couple is Mama and Daddy to four children, Patricia (Charles) Pace and Jane (Jimmy) Zittrouer, both of Springfield, and Jack Parrish Jr. and Harmon Parrish, both of Rincon. They are Grandmama and Granddaddy to four children, Chad (Amber) Pace, Craig Pace, Chris (Tesh) Pace and April Zittrouer, all of Springfield. They are Me-Ma and D-Daddy to three precious great-grandsons, Connor and Hunter Pace, and Mikey Zittrouer, all of Springfield.

The Parrishs will be honored with a family dinner to commemorate this happy and blessed milestone in their lives.
