Smith's celebrate 50 years

Amy and Huron Smith of Rincon will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Rincon United Methodist Church. They will renew their vows at 6 p.m.

The couple grew up in Sylvania and were married on June 14, 1957, at McBride Methodist Church in Screven County.

They moved to Savannah in 1957. Huron was employed at Union Camp until his retirement in 1994. They had made their home in Port Wentworth until moving to Rincon in 1999.

The reception will be hosted by their children and grandchildren. They have three children, daughter LaRose, and sons Jeffrey and wife Suzanne, and Bruce and wife Anita. They have nine grandchildren, Amber, Tabithea, Cristin, Miranda, Troy, Hunter, Harlee, Luke and Levi.

All family and friends are invited.
