Kelvin and Mary Ann Wallace

Kelvin and Mary Ann Wallace of Springfield were high school sweethearts and united on Oct. 1, 1983, and now this year they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Oct. 1, 2008.

Kelvin is the grandson of the late Emmitt and Sweetie Mae Wallace of Springfield and the son of Lillian Robinson and Virgil Moody, both of Savannah.

Mary Ann is the granddaughter of Simuel and Christine Postell of Savannah and the daughter of Rodell and Leila Mae Nixon of Springfield.

The Wallaces have lived in Effingham County for over 25 years and attend Mount Caramel Deliverance Center, where Bishop Julian Jones presides. Kelvin is a caring and protective husband, father and grandfather who is employed with Imperial Sugar and Mary Ann has the rewarding job of being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

They will be celebrating their silver anniversary with their three children, Kelwanda, Kelshaunda and Kelvin II; one grandson, Dominick Kelton O’Neal; and several family members and friends.
