Kacy Allen Tedder knew she wanted to write when her first grade teacher gave her a Cabbage Patch Kids’ spiral notebook.
 
“A lot of people can write,” she said. “But you have to have something to write about. You have to truly find your passion; you have to have a story to tell.”
 
And for the Effingham native, that story was Sally’s story.
