Savannah Christian Church is set to launch its Effingham satellite campus in Rincon on Dec. 12, expecting 663 to attend regularly and providing free lunch for everyone and inflatables for the kids after their 11 a.m. service.

The 6,000 plus congregation church began looking for a facility in the Effingham County in June of last year and purchased a building on Fort Howard
Road from Rincon United Methodist Church three months later.

“The great thing about the church that was here, they put a lot of blood, sweat and tears in to this building,” said Lyle Wood, head pastor at the Effingham campus. “… This property was dedicated to the Lord.”
