First Baptist Church of Rincon will have a contemporary service on Saturday night at 7 p.m., and a traditional service on Sunday night at 6 p.m.

“We tried this last month and it was well-received, so we're doing it again Nov. 14-15,” said Pastor Bob Rogers. “We will continue to have a blended style of both contemporary and traditional music in our Sunday morning services at 9 and 10:30 a.m.”

The Saturday night “Prayer and Praise” contemporary service at 7 p.m. will focus on “Inspiration for the Next Generation” from Philippians 3:13-14. There will be music by the church praise band, and an art drawing by Dr. Bill Gammon during the sermon, which will be brought by the pastor, Dr. Bob Rogers. There will be a bonfire fellowship after the service.

The Sunday night “Old Time Gospel Hour” traditional service at 6 p.m. will focus on the praise psalms, Psalms 146-150, with a message by Student Minister Bryan Gilde. The service will feature upbeat Southern gospel music.
