First Baptist Church of Rincon will host a special 9/11 memorial service to remember the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on America. The service will be on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.

The service will include patriotic music, video and remembrances of 9/11, special recognition of first responders, testimonies from police officers and will end with a candlelight ceremony outdoors as it turns dark, singing “God Bless America” as two large beams are turned on, pointing to the sky.

Reserved seating is available for law enforcement, fire fighters, and EMS personnel. Call the church office at 826-5536 weekdays, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and let the secretary know how many seats to reserve.
