First Baptist Church of Rincon will present the all new live drama “Last Chance” on Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. and Aug. 23-24 at 7 p.m.

 

“Last Chance” is a high impact multi-media event with spectacular lighting and sound effects, from the same people who produced “Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames.”

 

The drama is performed with members of the congregation as cast members who do stage drama simultaneously with video on large screens, telling the story of a Christian grandfather and his family over a period of 20 years. The drama commences with the end of his life and his entrance into heaven. This is followed by a series of vignettes depicting the lives of his children and grandchildren who represent a cross section of different viewpoints about spiritual and eternal values. The audience is challenged to consider where they will spend eternity, and not miss their “last chance” before it is eternally too late.

 

Due to some graphic scenes and the life and death theme, parents are strongly urged not to bring any children ages 9 and under. The church will provide nursery care and children’s activities for children through age 9.
