It’s time again for bluegrass music and you won’t find any better than the Mossy Oak Music Park in Guyton. Make plans now to visit the park from May 26-31 on north Honey Ridge Road. There will be music all weekend plus arts and crafts vendors and food on site.

The lineup for the weekend of music includes the Lewis Tradition on Thursday, the Larkins on Saturday, Bonner Creek all weekend, and the Suggins Brothers and the Larry Gillis Band on Friday and Saturday.

Local favorites Evan and Alex with the Hard Driving Bluegrass Band will perform on Thursday and the house band, the Lonesome Whistle Band, will play on Saturday.

The music park is a 34-acre compound just outside of Guyton on Honey Ridge Road. The area features a permanent covered stage and pavilion, permanent restrooms, Granny’s Kitchen, gift store, children’s playground, and plenty of room to park your RV and sit around the fire picking and grinning with your friends.

Sunday will feature an 8:30 a.m. church service, followed by gospel music.

This marks the 26th Mossy Oak Festival production since opening in 2002. The next bluegrass festival will be Oct. 20-24.
