Acclaimed Celtic folk singer Harry O’Donoghue will perform in concert at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Rincon on Aug. 13 at 7 p.m.   

After more than 30 years of a career in music, O’Donoghue has become a master folk singer, storyteller and song writer who blends his musical talent with Irish wit and wisdom. He is the host of the “Green Island Radio Show,” which airs weekly on National Public Radio.  

A limited number of tickets are available for advance purchase for $15 each and are being sold at Effingham Eye Care in Rincon and Kelly’s Tavern in Springfield. A reception will follow the concert in the Ashley Center at the church on Goshen Road. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the youth ministry at St. Luke’s.
