Denise Driggers, MT (ASCP), manager of Effingham Hospital’s laboratory services, is the first recipient of the You Make A Difference Award, presented by Effingham Hospital’s Department of Quality and Patient Safety.

Driggers was selected from the hospital’s almost 300 employees for her dedication and commitment to preserving the highest level of quality patient safety and laboratory assurance for patient care.

“Denise has always been willing and able to serve in any capacity asked of her,” said James Edwards, director of quality and patient safety. “She is a dependable and knowledgeable employee and we appreciate her extraordinary efforts. She is a ‘true friend’ to the quality assurance program here at Effingham Hospital.”
