HELENA, Ala. Theres a certain joy in teaching children new things that doesnt compare to any other kind of accomplishment.

When I was fresh out of college, I spent a lot of time watching my young nephew. The toe-headed tot was always eager to please, and I loved teaching him tricks in addition to helping him learn his animal noises, nursery rhymes and ABCs.

That same joy times about a thousand is apparent in a new viral video.

John David Marlin of Helena, Alabama, was recorded by his mother, Hannah Marlin, getting through the 26 letters of the alphabet in the most joyful way possible. Just wait until he gets to W. Your heart wont be able to take it.

Since being posted on Facebook earlier this week, the video has been viewed nearly 14.4 million times and has been picked up by major stations like Good Morning America, Fox News and Today.com.

In an interview with People magazine, 23-year-old Hannah said the video has really made an impression on others.

People are so encouraged by John David, she said. They see his joy from something as simple as the alphabet and are inspired. I think we all need a reminder like that once in a while.

There are lots of incredible things about the Internet, but being able to see and share small, but special, moments with the world is definitely up there among the best.

An Alabama 2-year-old has gone viral after reciting his ABCs for his mom and her camera and its likely the most heartwarming thing youll see today.
