Most of Apple’s acquisitions have been based on hardware/software or analytics capabilities, but in an interview with Fortune, Black Eyed Peas frontman and Beats equity partner Will.i.am argues that this acquisition is about more than money or hardware, but about the merging of two powerful and complementary cultures.
