Been living in NYC way too long. Saw a guy on the tracks this AM, with the B train speeding ahead, Mogharabi wrote. I tried to pull him out and he ducked under the tracks just before it hit him. Hes all good though, he just enjoyed a morning cig under the train after.

A woman flagged down the train so that it would slow down, according to the New York Post. Moments later, the man appeared fine smoking a cigarette under the platform and next to the train.

Authorities came and rescued the man, who was not injured. Authorities later identified the man as Rafael Gonzalez, 52. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital.

Gonzalez has a record, including 19 arrests on multiple accounts of assault and public alcohol consumption. He wasnt arrested during Mondays incident.

I cant believe he didnt get hit, and I cant believe that I was the only one who tried to grab him, Mogharabi told the New York Post. He looked like he knew what he was doing, like he does this all the time.
