MAMMOTH LAKES, Calif. Some fathers cultivate relationships with their children by reserving one special activity that only they do together.

For at least two fathers, that activity is tandem snowboarding like youve probably never seen before. Bob Carlson of Arbor Snowboars and Steve Klassen of Wave Rave Snowboard Shop made a video in celebration of Kinsey Klassens third birthday, showing off their particular brand of tandem snowboarding.

These two professional snowboarders, with several years of experience apiece, place their daughters between their feet and hold tight to their arms as they head down the slopes. But they dont stick to simple downhill runs. In the video they show of jumps, slides, flips and a fair amount of holding their girls up so they can fly down the slopes.

While that sounds frightening, the video is actually loads of fun and a salute the the massive amount of trust these two little girls have in their dads and how much these dads love and care for their daughters.

While both the girls are wearing appropriate protective gear, the snowboarding dads are quick with this disclaimer in the video description:

The makers of this film are not responsible for any injury you may cause to yourself or others while attempting to duplicate the riding styles shown in this video. All riders shown here are professional snowboarders who have been riding for many years. Know your skill level, and do not exceed it when riding tandem. While extremely rewarding, riding tandem can also be dangerous. The best advice we can give is this; Stay within your limits so you never fall. Good luck and have fun.

And we echo their practiced and professional advice wholeheartedly. Play smart and safe, everyone!
