If our tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
We would walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken, no time to say “goodbye”
You were gone before we knew it and only our God knows why.
Our hearts still ache with sadness and so many tears still flow,
How very much we love you “Mom, Nanny, Big Nanny” no one can ever know.
We know you truly want us to mourn for you no more,
