Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Lee Chance - photo by Photo provided
Miss Lindsay Suzanne Page and Mr. Dwight Lee Chance were united in holy matrimony on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at 5:45 p.m. at Ardsley Park Baptist Church in Savannah. A dear friend of the bride’s family, Dr. John R. Tramell, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Freddie and Susan Page of Guyton and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hahn and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Page. The groom is the son of Robert L. Chance of Guyton and Mr. and Mrs. Julio Navarro of Brooklet. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Arnold and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chance.

Escorted by her parents, the bride was presented in marriage by her father, wearing a beaded vintage style gown with a chapel length train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses accented with peacock feathers and a rhinestone brooch. For sentimental reasons, she wore red shoes and carried her grandmother’s handkerchief.

The bride was attended by her dearest friend, Karla Clayton, as matron of honor and her treasured cousin, Stacee Dunlap, as maid of honor. Other bridesmaids were sister and sister-in-law of the groom, Kim Scott and Melissa Chance, along with cherished friends Karla Keen and Jincy Hinely. Madison Scott, niece of the groom, was the precious flower girl.

The groom chose his friend, Mike Ely, as best man. Other groomsmen were father and stepfather, Robert L. Chance and Julio Navarro, the groom’s brother, Chris Chance, his cousin Scott Arnold and brother of the bride, Ryan Page. The ring bearer was Dacoda Chance, nephew of the groom.

The bride and groom exchanged both traditional and personal vows during the Christian ceremony. The unity candle was lit representing their oneness in Christ. Beautiful music was provided by pianist, Kathy Watson, trumpeter, Jimmy Wells and soloist, Emily Hendrix. Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at the Armstrong Center Ballroom. All who attended enjoyed a wonderful meal and a great time with music and dancing.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Georgia Southern University, with bachelor’s degrees in Finance. The bride is employed with SunTrust Bank and the groom with Great Dane Trailers. After enjoying their honeymoon in sunny Maui, the couple has made their home in Rincon.

The bride and groom extend heartfelt appreciation to all those who attended their ceremony and shared in creating such a beautiful and memorable day.
