Tyler and Katie (Howell) Jenkins

Katie Lynn Howell and Tyler Hunt Jenkins were united in marriage on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 6 p.m. at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church in Savannah. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Brett Howell, uncle of the bride, who was assisted by the Rev. Edwin Chase. Music for the ceremony was provided by pianist Ralph Long and vocalist Regina Haynes.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Howell of Guyton. She is the granddaughter of the late Lt. Col. (ret.) Joseph D. Chestnutt and Mrs. Marinelle Chestnutt of Ludowici and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Howell of Hinesville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Jenkins of Rincon. He is the grandson of Mr. Richard Hunt and the late Mrs. Marilyn Hunt of Rincon, and the late Mr. Jack Jenkins and the late Mrs. Imogene Jenkins of Warner Robins.

Miss Melanie Hampton of Calhoun served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Kaitlyn Howell, cousin of the bride, Miss Megan Johnson, Mrs. Kelly Reams and Miss Christie Wostbrock. Junior bridesmaids were Miss Ella Grace Higdon and Miss Lily Higdon. The flower girl was Gracie Hauser.

Mr. Jessie Jenkins, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Kyle Howell, brother of the bride, Spencer Jenkins, brother of the groom, Zach Jenkins, brother of the groom, and Thomas Reams. The ringbearer was Jude Devisscher.

Following a reception at the DeSoto Hilton, the couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. They reside in Springfield.
