Effingham County 4-H Archers competed in the State Indoor Archery Invitational at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry in January.

The Effingham 4-H Archery program is part of the Georgia 4-H Project S.A.F.E. (Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education) program which is an active program, attractive to youth and adult audiences.

The Effingham 4-H Archery program is in its fourth year with numbers growing each year.

“The archery program has been a great addition to our programming,” Abby Smith, Effingham 4-H Agent said.  “It offers young people another outlet to get involved in a positive activity that promotes teamwork, mastery, belonging and skill building.  We could not be happier with the success the 4-H Archery program continues to see.”
