U.S. Rep. John Barrow (D-Augusta) will host two town hall meetings Memorial Day to discuss veterans’ issues.  The town hall meetings, taking place in Augusta and Statesboro, will allow Barrow to meet with 12th District veterans and their families, thank them for their service, and listen to their concerns. 

"We can’t turn our backs on our servicemen and women when they return home," Congressman Barrow said. "These town hall meetings give me the chance to meet with and listen to folks about the problems they face after serving our country.  Talking with our veterans is one of the best parts of my job, and I look forward to these events every year."

Barrow will be joined by Al Bocchicchio, the director of the Atlanta VA Regional Office, and Doug Chapman, the Veterans Service Center manager at the Atlanta VA Regional Office.
