RINCON -- An event sponsored by Effingham Health System lived up to its name.

Thursday's Lunch, Laugh & Learn accomplished its mission of mixing sobering breast cancer information with the Souther humor of columnist Ronda Rich and a delicious lunch at Effingham College & Career Academy.

Effingham Health System SECO Frank Baker-Witt said one in eight American women will get breast cancer.
