The Georgia Department of Transportation has closed the Houlihan Bridge for damage assessment and repairs. The bridge will be closed for an unknown amount of time. Local traffic will not be affected and the Houlihan Boat Ramp remains open. Motorists transiting to and from South Carolina are requested to use Interstate 95 as an alternate route.
