Vince Exley, of the Georgia Salzburger Society, presented a framed print to Norma Jean Morgan, CEO Effingham Health System, for the new hospital.

The print is a gift of Dr. Rudolf Freudenberger, who for many years was the senior pastor of St. Anna Lutheran Church in Augsburg, Germany. The painting depicts important individuals in the first transport to Georgia.

The painting is of particular interest to Morgan in that Andreas Zwiffler, a Hungarian-German apothecary, was the health care giver in the travel group and served at Ebenezer during the early years.

From left to right in the print are Georg Friedrich von Reck, Johann Martin Boltzius, James Edward Oglethorpe, Thomas Gschwandel and Zwiffler.
