Derrell E. Banks was chosen as the newest member of the Effingham Health System board of trustees to serve as the city of Springfield representative. He was selected to fill the seat vacated by Stephen Mobley.

Banks retired after 40 years of service with Savannah Electric and Power Company.

“Mr. Banks will be a great asset to the hospital board with his business background as well as volunteer work,” said Effingham Health System CEO Norma Jean Morgan.
