Scott J. Hoppa, vice president of McShane Construction Company’s Southeast Region, announced the completion of the 352-unit, 430,000 square foot The Springs at Effingham multi-family apartment complex for developer/owner, Continental Properties Company, Inc.  The project is situated on a 32-acre site located at 617 Towne Park West Dr. in Rincon. 

This sizable construction project consisted of 22 residential buildings positioned throughout the development that were constructed of a combination of dry stacked stone and cement fiber plank siding offering an architecturally appealing appearance. 

“This multi-family project is immediately available to meet market demand for additional high-quality rental housing,” Hoppa said. “The Springs at Effingham supplies a practical economic solution to meet the needs of the growing population while maintaining the high-quality residential product that has become the hallmark of our client, Continental Properties Company.” 

Each building contains 16 apartment units in a variety of one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations.  The apartment units include in-unit laundry hookups, contemporary finishes and a balcony or patio. The Springs at Effingham also includes 170 integrated garage spaces artfully arranged within the residential buildings and additional surface parking for residents and guests. 

The clubhouse includes a business center, conference facility, laundry room, exercise room, kitchen and multi-purpose room complete with a fireplace and outdoor cooking area located adjacent to the pool facilities.
