Building a better Web site

A three-hour seminar presented by The University of Georgia’s International Trade Center, in close cooperation with Bibby Financial Services, The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and the U.S. Commercial Service will be held Sept. 29, at the Coastal Georgia Center at 305 Fahm St. in Savannah.
 
It includes:
 
• A phased approach of simple enhancements to internationalize the Web site, plus modifications to localize the site to suit a specific target country and/or culture.
 
• Translating the Web site, or part of the website, and promoting it to international search engines, directories and other reference sources. 
 
• Determining the type of e-commerce capability that is needed (information delivery site, e-marketplace site, transactional site) and then modifying the site accordingly. 
 
The presenter will be Dimitris Kloussiadis, CGPB, Senior International Business Consultant, International Trade Center, University of Georgia SBDC.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 8 a.m. Advance registration is $98 and registration at the door is $125.
