Davis named EHS employee of the year

Recently, the Effingham Hospital Authority and Effingham Health System hosted an appreciation banquet to honor the team members and departments of the year for 2015.

The Employee of the Year was awarded to Adam Davis of the Emergency Department, for his outstanding performance and patient satisfaction.

“We are proud to have Adam as a loyal TEAM member here at Effingham Health System” said Norma J. Morgan, CEO.

The Department of the Year was awarded to the Nursing Home, for being recognized as a 2015 recipient of the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award for superior performance in the long term and post-acute care profession. The Effingham Extended Care Facility is the only nursing home in Georgia to have ever received the Gold Award.

In addition, the financial counselors and collections were awarded a Department of the Year award for their excellent work throughout the year.
The following Healthcare Hero’s of Effingham Health System were nominated by fellow team members for exemplifying the motto of “work like you own it”:

Ann Ambrose, Vanessa Branch, Richie Burns, Adam Davis, Jackie Hollis, Amy Jenkins, Jamie Mercer, Linda Roberts and Katie Walker.

Ola Mae Jones was recognized for her 45 years of service to Effingham Health System. Numerous other team members were recognized for their many years of service.
