Deal joins staff of Kicklighter Academy

Keller Deal recently joined the administrative staff at Kicklighter Resource Center, LLC/ Kicklighter Academy as the director of marketing. In this position, she will be responsible for advertising, advocacy and community education.   

Originally from Valdosta, Deal moved to Savannah in May 2007 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in family and consumer sciences from the University of Georgia. She interned for United Way of the Coastal Empire this summer in the marketing department.  There, she helped plan several fundraisers and events and continues to be an active volunteer.

“We are proud to add Keller as a part of our organization. With her background and bright attitude, she will surely be a great asset,” said Robert Kozlowski, executive director of Kicklighter Resource Center.

The Kicklighter Resource Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community’s children and adults with mental retardation, autism and other developmental disabilities for over 50 years. All programs and services are focused on achieving the mission of improving the quality of life of the unique children, adults and families we serve.  

Kicklighter Academy is an enriching, early education preschool that serves all children through 5 years of age.

Kicklighter Academy uses a unique approach of integrating children with autism and other developmental disabilities with their typically developing peers to maximize the success of all of its students.
