EMC merges with Trinity

EMC Engineering Services, Inc. announces the successful merger/acquisition of the firm of Trinity Land Consultants, professional land surveyors, on Oct. 19.

EMC is a consulting engineering firm offering a wide range of services to municipalities, governmental agencies, industries and businesses in the Southeastern U.S. With the addition of Trinity Land Consultants, EMC has a production staff of 195 engineers, surveyors, technicians, geologists, biologists, inspectors and administration staff.

Their corporate headquarters is in Savannah with branch offices in Statesboro, Brunswick, Albany, Augusta, Valdosta, Columbus and Atlanta. EMC also has project administration offices in Glennville, Mobile, Ala., and Panama City, Fla.
Jeff Mock, R.L.S., founder of Trinity, will assume the position of survey division director for EMC’s corporate office in Savannah. Mock has more than 18 years of experience providing quality services in all aspects of professional surveying and will direct a staff of 30 surveyors and technicians.

EMC’s survey services include: ALTA, topographic, boundary, hydrographic, tree, wetland, as-built and photogrametric control surveys as well as legal descriptions, elevation certificates, subdivision plats and construction staking.

Mock will also bring a new service which will be provided by EMC to contractors — 3-D digital GPS control. This service allows contractors to upload grade terrain features into their heavy equipment in order to grade construction sites.

The principals and associates of EMC Engineering also welcome Mock as a principal owner of the firm.
