Effingham Hospital and Care Center announces that Informatics Manager Mary Pizzino has been awarded a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences Degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Pizzino was the recipient of this year’s Quality Award, given annually to an Effingham Hospital employee who goes above and beyond to make sure every individual receives quality care when visiting the hospital.

“We are very proud of Mary’s accomplishment and her dedication toward furthering her education,” said Norma Jean Morgan, CEO of Effingham Hospital and Care Center. “It is this commitment to continuing education by all of our employees that allows Effingham Hospital and Care Center to continually provide quality health care to the entire community.”
