The Georgia Department of Labor will host a recruitment next week to help Pinnacle Workforce Logistics hire about 30 workers for a warehouse in Pooler.

The recruitment will be held Wednesday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the GDOL office, located in the Effingham County Annex on Highway 119 South in Springfield. The office is a satellite of the Savannah Career Center.

The company is recruiting personnel to load and unload trucks, fill orders and operate forklifts. Applicants must be able to lift 50-75 pounds continuously.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Job seekers will complete a company application at the recruitment and interviews may take place that day. The employer will discuss available shifts during the interviews. The company will conduct drug-screening tests and a background check on applicants.
