Lost Plantation, a Lamar Smith Signature Development community located in Rincon, recently completed a new pool and pavilion and has announced plans to develop the neighborhood’s remaining home sites. Two phases of custom home sites are currently available, with prices ranging from the $70,000s to the $90,000s.

“Lost Plantation is already home to more than 300 families, but we can’t wait to welcome new homeowners into the ease and tranquility of our community,” said Smith, founder and president of Lamar Smith Signature Development. “These new custom home sites are top-quality in every way.”

Smith expects the last of the community’s 500 total homes to be built by the end of 2009. The community’s final phases are already paved and lots are currently ready for new homes.

To accommodate additional homeowners, Lamar Smith Signature Development recently completed construction on a new $400,000 recreation center. The new state of the art, 2,300-square-foot pool, which includes an oversized spa, is located adjacent to the existing pool and is connected by a walkway and a new 1,000-square-foot-pavilion with restrooms, changing rooms and showers.

Next to the new pool, children in the neighborhood can now play in a spacious kids pool while their parents watch from built-in pool benches or from the tanning lawn.

“With these new improvements,” said Smith, “we think homebuyers will see why Lost Plantation is still the best place in the area to call home.”

Lamar Smith Signature Development has developed residential communities including Richmond Place and Main Street in Richmond Hill and Parkside at Rice Hope in Port Wentworth. The company is headquartered in Reidsville.
