If you are thinking of starting a small business, then taking one of these workshops is a crucial first step. The workshop will cover the basics of what you need to know and do before starting a business.

The session also will cover the traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for business, estimating start-up costs and cash flow projections, financing alternatives, failure factors and business planning.

You need attend only one workshop but attending one of these workshops may be one of the most important decisions you make prior to opening your business.

Workshops will be held at the Small Business Assistance Center located at 111 East Liberty St. in Savannah.

The cost is $69 per person (includes the cost of class materials) and special pricing is available for two or more people attending together.
These workshops are co-sponsored by The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center and S.C.O.R.E. (Service Corps of Retired Executives).
