Tractor Supply names Reid as manager

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Steven Reid has been named store manager at the Rincon Tractor Supply Company store that is under construction, according to district manager Jeff Johnson.

Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the U.S.

Reid joined Tractor Supply Company as a manager trainee in Carrollton in February. Before joining Tractor Supply Company, he worked as a co-manager at Wal-Mart, where he spent nine years. Reid, born and raised in Sylvania, also spent more than three years growing cotton and peanuts on 2,400 acres of land in Screven County.

“We are excited to have Steven on our leadership team,” Johnson said. “His experience will be a great asset to this store.”

In his new position, Reid will oversee all store operations including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer relations and team member relations.

The new Rincon Tractor Supply Company store is at 101 Fort Howard Rd. The store will open for business in late August.
