The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help in finding an alleged child molester on Wednesday. However, by Thursday morning he had turned himself in.
Joseph Joyner, 20, of Guyton, was wanted for aggravated sodomy, child molestation and statutory rape. Sherif’sf authorities had encouraged anyone with information to contact Detective Ehsanipoor in the Criminal Investigation Division or their local authorities.
