Aaron Blake Vickery, Zeigler Road/Roebling Road, Bloomingdale – probation violation, possession of tools for committing a crime, trafficking in cocaine (possession of methamphetamine.)
Incidents
Edwards Road, Clyo – a woman reported that while she was stopped at an intersection, an object was ejected from a nearby mower and struck the vehicle’s windshield, causing a crack.
ECSO lobby – a woman reported that she continues to receive harassing phone calls from her ex-husband even though she has told him repeatedly to stop contacting her. She stated that even though he did not have permission to pick up their children, she was fearful he would show up anyway. She was told to contact law enforcement if he showed up without her consent.
Hwy. 17N, Guyton – ECSO deputies pursued a motorcycle that reached speeds of more 140 mph in a 55-mph zone and also failed to stop at several intersections in the Egypt area. Deputies were unsuccessful in conducting a traffic stop and apprehending the driver.
Cedar Street, Springfield – deputies responded to a call of a potential financial scam. No financial transaction took place.
Midland Road, Guyton – a manager of the Dollar General wanted to report a theft that occurred in February by a former employee. The theft was not discovered until video tape of the incident was reviewed in April.
ECSO lobby – a man reported that his ex-girlfriend is sending threatening texts and social media videos to him and their son. There is an ongoing custody issue and the man wanted this incident documented.
Hwy. 119S, Springfield – deputies were checking Effingham County High School at approximately 1:30 a.m. and found an exterior door and an interior door had been propped open. After securing the scene, key holders were notified.
