Drug suppression unit agents found an operational meth lab and remnants of another meth lab, according to ECSO Chief Investigator Sgt. Don White.
The sheriff’s office received numerous anonymous tips, leading to ECSO surveillance.
“After lots of man hours they were able to develop enough information to bust this meth lab,”Sgt.White said.
Effingham Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie said his deputies continue to pursue meth dealers and makers and asked for the public’s help in finding them.
“We need our citizens to let us know, even if it’s anonymously, if there’s a meth lab in their neighborhood so we can get rid of it and make their neighborhood a better, safer place to live,” he said.
