A suspected repeat meth cook is back behind bars after Effingham County Sheriff’s drug investigators located an active methamphetamine lab and several other components to make meth labs.
Michael Linderman, 27, of Bloomingdale is facing several meth related charges following Friday’s discovery at his residence in the 200 block of Corral Road in Bloomingdale.
According to ECSO reports, as investigators arrived at his home, Linderman, and his girlfriend, Brittney O’Conner, 22, of Bloomingdale fled in a vehicle. As they fled from the investigators at a high rate of speed, both Linderman and O’Conner were throwing meth labs and components to make the labs out of the window of the vehicle.
Deputies were able to catch the suspects near Ziegler Road, where they were taken into custody.
Linderman and O’Conner were charged with trafficking methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and unlawful disposal of egregious materials.
Linderman, who is no stranger to the law, was out on bond after he was arrested on May 31 for being in possession of 35 "one-pot" meth labs.
He was arrested that day along with Mark Anthony Igou, 24, of Bloomingdale. On that arrest, ECSO Drug Suppression Unit agents followed up on information that led them to a Corral Road residence in Bloomingdale. Linderman was
charged then with manufacturing methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, unlawful possession of pseudoephedrine, and conspiracy for the May 31 arrest.
This is an ongoing investigation and additional arrests are expected.
Linderman and O’Conner are both being held in the Effingham County Jail.
