A couple stated that they returned to their home to discover that the back door had been tampered with. It was noted that the door had marks on it and that the hinges had been cut. Disorderly Person
A woman stated that her brother had threatened to kill her and attempted to punch her twice. She said that they had been arguing over her belongings when the incident took place. The brother claimed that the woman had an attitude and that the two had a history of family tensions. The woman collected her belongings and left the residence. Verbal Altercation
A couple stated that they were being harassed by a woman who was claiming that they killed her son. The couple also said that the woman’s other son had made threats against them. The woman and her family could not be located at the time. The reporting officer was Dawn DeVoss.
July 3
Wanted Person-Warrant Service; Possession of Marijuana Less than One Ounce; Open Alcohol Container; Taillight Requirements; Possession of Methamphetamine; Drugs not in Original Container- Misdemeanor
A woman was seen driving down the road with a taillight that was not working properly. It was soon discovered that her passenger had an active warrant, and he was swiftly arrested. The woman appeared to be impaired, and a search of her vehicle yielded marijuana, methamphetamine and six pills that were not in their original container. She was placed under arrest a short time later. The reporting officer was Robert Elliott Petitt.
Simple Battery; Disorderly Conduct
A man advised that his step-sister had pushed and choked him during an argument. He agreed to separate from his step-sister and leave the scene of the incident with his wife. He had to be monitored as he was leaving because he was being disorderly toward those around him. The reporting officer was Caleb Grovenstein.
Wanted Person-Warrant Service; Child or Youth Restraint not Used Properly
A woman was spotted driving down the road with two unrestrained children. A background check revealed that she had an active warrant, and she was swiftly arrested. The children and the vehicle were released to a passenger. The reporting officer was Loren Richard Scholes.

Aggravated Battery
A man stated that his son attacked him during an argument over car keys. During the fight, the son managed to knock the man unconscious and knock out his brother’s tooth before driving away with his girlfriend. The brother confirmed this story and even showed his tooth as proof, but the son claimed that he was acting in self-defense because the man and the brother attacked him for no reason. The son was determined to be the primary aggressor and placed under arrest. The reporting officer was Max Barber.

Burglary-First Degree (Felony); Theft by Taking-Felony; Theft by Taking- Misdemeanor ($500 or Less)
A man stated that he returned home from vacation to find his front door open. It was noted that the door had sustained damage. He said that only his guns appeared to be missing which included three rifles and two air guns. He was unsure of who could have committed the crime. The reporting officer was Fonzie Wayne Smith.
Criminal Trespass-Property Damage; Aggravated Assault; Battery- Family Violence (First Offense) Misdemeanor; Simple Assault
A woman advised that her husband attacked her and her friend with a knife. The incident consisted of two attacks over the course of the day, and all parties claimed that they were acting in self-defense when describing their actions. Each person was accused by one of the others of being either disorderly or violent. It was noted that the husband was under the influence and that the woman had mental health issues. The husband agreed to stay with his son-in-law, and the woman agreed to stay with the friend for the time being. The reporting officer was Bobby McCloud.
Fraudulent Telephone Solicitation
A woman stated that after buying health insurance over the phone, the company took out more money from her checking account than was agreed upon and then would not return her calls. A representative of the company said that she would be happy to assist the woman with disputing the charges and getting proper insurance. The reporting officer was James Ashley Denney.
July 6
DUI-Driving Under the Influence of Drugs; Failure to Maintain Lane
A woman was seen driving down the road at a low rate of speed and in an erratic fashion. She admitted to being on multiple medications, and she later failed a field sobriety test. She was swiftly arrested, and her vehicle was towed by a local wrecker service. The reporting officer was Justin Hynko.
Unlawful Conduct During 911 Call
A woman stated that she called 911 because her daughter took her keys and pushed her. It was later revealed that she was an alcoholic who wanted to get alcohol and that she was not supposed to be driving in the first place due to her probation. Battery-Family Violence (First Offense) Misdemeanor
A woman stated that she was going to retrieve her son from her drunk ex-husband when the ex-husband got mad for no apparent reason and slammed his front door on her arm. It was noted that the ex-husband smelled strongly of alcoholic beverages and that the woman had visible marks on her arm. The story was later confirmed by the ex-husband and some neighbors who witnessed the incident. The ex-husband was arrested a short time later. The reporting officer was Max Barber.

A wanted man was spotted walking beside the road who proceeded to run when he saw police. After a brief chase, he surrendered and was arrested. A search of the man yielded two knifes, a scale, a bottle of crude oil and traces of marijuana. The reporting officer was Cody Chapman.

Three men advised that their friend had crashed his dirt bike into a moving vehicle which caused significant bleeding from his head and face. A woman was spotted driving down the road with a license that had been suspended for a previous D.U.I. charge. She was placed under arrest, and her vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver. The reporting officer was William West.

A woman advised that she had been arguing with her husband for the entire day because he had called her a pedophile. She was afraid that if she left the house, her husband would lock her out. The husband said that two had been fighting about various issues for the whole day and that it had never become physical. The woman agreed to spend the night with her sister. Simple Assault
A woman stated that she went to her mother’s residence to retrieve some items when she discovered her nephew and several other people in the house. When she questioned the nephew about the situation, he became irate and disorderly. The nephew, however, claimed that the woman had become disorderly with him. It was noted that the fight had not been physical, and both parties were advised to avoid contact with each other for the time being. The reporting officer was Max Barber.
Terroristic Threats and/or Acts
A man stated that he was helping a woman watch her grandchildren when the woman began to make threats toward him. It started when the man went outside to work on his truck which left the woman alone with one of the grandchildren who was getting a bath. The woman got mad for being left alone, and she proceeded to threaten to burn the man’s house down. The man also noted that the woman was under the influence. The woman’s daughter picked up the woman before police arrived at the scene. The woman was later located, whereupon she admitted to making the threats and to being drunk. She was arrested, and her daughter was released from the scene. The reporting officer was Karyn Witherington.

A woman was seen driving down the road in a vehicle that smelled strongly of marijuana. She admitted to having some in her possession, and after failing a field sobriety test, she was swiftly arrested. The reporting officer was William West.
Criminal Damage to Property- First Degree; Injuring, Tearing Down or Destruction of Mailboxes
A man stated that several teenagers had shot his neighbor’s mailbox from a truck. It was noted that there was nothing left of the mailbox and that several fireworks were lying next to its remains. The suspects could not be located at the time. The reporting officer was Loren Richard Scholes.

Domestic Dispute
A woman stated that she got into a verbal altercation with her husband after she stayed out late with her friends. They did not physically fight, but the husband did throw the woman’s clothing in the yard. The husband later confirmed the woman’s story. The woman agreed to stay with her sister for the rest of the night. The reporting officer was Robert Elliott Petitt.
Maintaining a Disorderly House
A man advised that a female acquaintance who was high on drugs tried to slash him with a knife. The incident started when the man took the acquaintance’s keys, and she demanded them back. The acquaintance proceeded to hit him on the back and attack him with a knife. The man managed to get the knife away from her and call the police. The acquaintance confirmed this series of events but added that the man jabbed at her stomach when he got the knife. Both parties were swiftly placed under arrest a short time later.
