A citizen's tip led Rincon Police to arrest two men in a possible theft at Manna House on Tuesday.

Around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Rincon officers arrested Samuel Jason Sorgman, 29, of Guyton, and Richard Leon Chaffin Jr., 30. A citizen called Rincon Police and informed them he saw two men in a 1996 Ford Explorer parked behind Manna House, loading furniture into the vehicle and leaving the scene.

Two officers were in the area of Manna House and stopped the vehicle. They identified Sorgman and Chaffin as the vehicle's occupants, placed them under arrest and took them to Effingham County Jail, where they are awaiting a bond hearing.
