Screven sheriff seeks help in suspect ID

The Screven County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a suspect in connection with at least two residential burglaries in Screven County in April.  

This person has been described as a white male, slender build, brown hair, dark tan/olive complexion, driving a 1994-1998 model red Ford Mustang. The paint on the vehicle is dull; it may be the original paintjob that has faded.  

Vehicle is equipped with aftermarket white/clear taillights of a type similar to those in the photograph.  

The above sketch was drawn by a Georgia Bureau of Investigation forensic artist with the aid of witness accounts. Anyone with any information about a person fitting this description is asked to contact investigators at the Screven County Sheriff’s Office at (912) 564-2013. Two men were arrested Tuesday in Eden after a domestic dispute led to a standoff. Deputies say George Driggers, 47, threatened his girlfriend and law enforcement with a gun, then barricaded himself inside a home. His father, Alford Driggers, 80, was also charged for allegedly threatening deputies.
