Kelvin Parrish Brown, North Laurel Street – driving while license is suspended, obstruction of law enforcement, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.

Angela Greene, South Laurel Street – citation issued for simple assault.

Olivia Scruggs, South Laurel Street – citation issued for simple assault.

 

Incidents

Maple Street – a woman reported that the woman she hired to clean the house and watch the children refused to return the homeowner’s house key.

Arrests/Citations

Richard Nunley Sr., Alyssa Avenue – battery, family violence.

Jordan Lindquist, Chestnut Lane – wanted person by ECSO for probation violation.

 

Incidents

Oak Drive – a woman reported that she and her boyfriend are having a disagreement regarding payment arrangements with their landlord who also resides on the property.

Ridge Road – a man reported that he and his wife had been having an ongoing verbal argument.

Dogpatch Road – a man reported that he and his neighbor were having a disagreement about an easement access between their properties.

Andrews Lane – a woman reported that her child’s father would not return a car seat or the woman’s license that she left at his residence.

Noel C. Conaway Road – a woman reported that workers from Effingham County allegedly removed her mailbox while doing work on the road; she hasn’t been able to send or receive mail without having to go to the post office.

Pecan Lane – a woman reported that her husband are in the middle of divorce proceedings and he had put a GPS tracker on her mother’s vehicle (which the woman drives regularly) without her knowledge.

Freesia Drive – a man reported that cabinets delivered a home site were allegedly stolen by an unknown person within the two days between delivery and scheduled installation. The value of the cabinets is $3,453.00.

Hwy. 17/Hwy. 80 – deputies responded to the location of a two-vehicle accident. Deputies detected the smell of marijuana in one vehicle and confiscated the drug.

Ebenezer Road – a woman reported that she has been receiving threatening text messages from a man she knows.

Brogdon Road – a man reported that he continues to have a disagreement with a neighbor about locking and unlocking a gate with access to both their properties that share an easement.

Moore Road – a man called to report he believes that an unknown person may have tried to break into his mother’s house. The keyhole in the knob of the back door was scratched and damaged.

Bradford Drive – a man reported that a duplicate transaction between Cash App and his bank has been completed before a fraud alert was issued. His accounts were frozen and he was able to have the funds ($4,989) refunded to his account.

Lakewood Drive – a woman reported that when she went to clean out a room above the garage that her son had been living in, she found what she thought was drug-related items. Deputies investigated and determined the items were used to make a homemade alcoholic beverage, possibly beer.

Penny Lane – a woman reported she saw an unknown person enter a storage shed on her property. Deputies investigated but were unsuccessful in locating anyone inside the shed, a second outbuilding on the property and an RV parked outside the outbuildings.

Elm Street – a man reported that he had loaned his red Yard Machine push lawn mower to another man who failed to return it by the agreed upon day and time.

Churchill Road – a woman reported that her Ring video camera caught an unknown man exiting a car parked next to her property taking pictures of her house.

Hodgeville Road – the owner of Diesel Power Solutions reported that the driver of a semi, after making a delivery, backed up several times and damaged two engine pallets ($150). A lawnmower was also damaged – the fuel tank ($425) and control panel ($145). A police report was required for insurance reimbursement from the trucking company.

Old Augusta Road – a man reported that when his live-in girlfriend told the landlord she was vacating the property, the landlord turned off power to the residence. The landlord was not informed that another person lived in the residence.

Two men were arrested Tuesday in Eden after a domestic dispute led to a standoff. Deputies say George Driggers, 47, threatened his girlfriend and law enforcement with a gun, then barricaded himself inside a home. His father, Alford Driggers, 80, was also charged for allegedly threatening deputies.
