The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office has identified the driver killed in a crash Thursday night.

At approximately 9 p.m. Linda Lewis, 66, of Ellabell, was traveling west on Blue Jay Road when her Kia sedan crossed into the path of a pickup traveling north on Highway 17. The truck T-boned Lewis’ vehicle, and she was pronounced dead on the scene.

There were no other serious injuries reported. No charges have been filed.
