RINCON — The book on DRT America’s brief history in Effingham County didn’t end last month when the Springfield City Council rejected its request to send its wastewater to the city’s wastewater treatment facility.

Many chapters remain to be written and company officials believe the story will have a happy ending.

“We will be an asset to the community for the long term,” DRT America President Corey Schneider said.
